Travel plan notice 

 

We are pleased to announce updates to our travel and parking arrangements to enhance accessibility and promote sustainable commuting.  

 

1. New Covered Cycle Shelter  

A secure, covered bicycle shelter will be installed for use by both patients and staff. This facility aims to encourage cycling and provide a safe, weather-protected space to store bikes.  

 

2. Disabled Parking for Patients

Two dedicated disabled car parking spaces will be clearly demarcated near the entrance to prioritise accessibility for patients with mobility needs.  

 

3. Staff Parking Reminder

To free up on-site parking for patients, staff are kindly requested to:  

- Park off-site at the Rec (staff-only paid spaces are available here).  

- Consider sustainable travel options where possible.  

 

4. Staff Shower Access

To support those walking or cycling to work, a staff shower is available on-site. We hope this facility makes active commuting more convenient and comfortable.
